Can I transfer from Devry to a State University?

Is it easy to get accepted to Oregon State University as a transfer student?

• Hi all, I've been going to Lane Community College for three years and I just applied to transfer to Oregon State for fall 2012 to do a degree partnership with OSU and Linn-Benton Community College. My GPA is 2.99 (yeah not amazing, I know) but they say they only require 2.25 for transfer students. I also have all of the credits they require for transfer students. My question is, does anyone know how easy/hard it is to get accepted to Oregon State as a transfer student? Thanks!

  If you have the AAOT that community colleges in Oregon offer, it's a guarantee as long as you meet the entrance requirements of that particular university. As far as direct transfer without the AAOT, if you meet the requirements,your GPA is decent (above a 3.00) and you have over 60+ credits, it's still pretty easy. OSU is easier to get into than UO because their academic standards are lower.
