What is a good double major to do with communications?

What is involved in a communications major??? BEST ANSWER?

• so, i was told i may enjoy a communications major? but i'm not really sure what is involved in that? like what kind of job careers would come from a major there? are there different major focuses involved with that? lol just any information on a communications major would be greattttt.! also, i want to do something with theater, and is there a way to link the two of them?!

  Communication is the social science of how humans transfer and receive information between each other. Some communication programs focus solely on the theory/social science of it, while others can go into the more practical uses of communication-- mass media, public relations, journalism, production, etc. Different schools will have very different programs. Do your research! Communications (plural) is the actual technology that transmits information-- telephone, wireless, cable, etc. That would be more of a technical/vocational field than an academic one.
