  • Answer:

Radiography = X Ray Diagnostic Medical Sonography = ultrasound All the others are moot when training to be an RT or RDMS. You can go for Radiology (in which case you can do X Ray, MRI, CT or DMS) or DMS which is solely for ultrasound (which is what I'm doing). Depending on what program you choose, you may or may not need a Bachelor's degree (some programs don't require it). You'll have had to have basic Anatomy & Physiology and Physics. Some programs require Biology, Chemistry, Algebra and/or English.
