Which UC schools should I apply to?

Which UC Schools (University of California) are best?

• I'm a high school sophomore (almost junior) and I have been thinking about college. I have a 4.8 gpa, and almost 40 hours of community service. I would like to stay in state (California). I am undecided on what i would like to major in. I am currently thinking about humanities (Literature, English, comparative literature, etc.) Which UC University has a better humanities program, learning environment, etc? Also, are dorm spaces really cramped?

  The humanities are horribly impacted at all UC and Cal State schools. Since those majors rarely lead to employment in their field, the budget cuts have come down on the humanities so hard that comparing quality is no longer possible. The UC and CS schools are still good for the sciences but you should go to a private school if you want a quality education in the humanities. Even the sciences have had issues. My daughter turned down Cal when they offered her a full ride PhD in engineering as half of her classes for the first semester were canceled.
