Is a 2.5 GPA considered bad in college?

Is a 3.7 Weighted GPA considered good for College?

  • I am a Junior and I have severe ADD and ADHD which makes concentrating impossible for me, I am really smart but I can just never pay attention in class or sit long enough to do homework, so my grades aren’t as good as most of my friends in the same class. Last year I had 3 As, 2 A-s, 2 B+s, and a C, in 1 Honors and 1 AP class. Final GPA: 3.76, This year im taking 3 Honors Classes and 1 AP and my average GPA is somewhere around 3.68. I want to go to a decent college, not like ivy league but one or two steps above state college(By the way my unweighted GPA is around 3.45) Would colleges like these type of grades, or do they want better. Thank You.

You can totally get into some nice colleges with that GPA. I live in California, so I only know about California colleges, but you could totally get into colleges like UC Davis or UC Irvine. I would suggest that you continue to try your best and do really well this semester so you can raise it to a solid 3.7 again. That way you can increase your chances. Also, do well on your SAT's, that will boost your chances into getting into some good colleges too.

Its good. you worry to much. Just focus on your SATs now

Colleges are going to want your unweighted cumulative GPA. A 3.4 will give you many options for schools. Your ACT/SAT score will matter too
