Can you take the SAT after you graduate high school?

  • Here's the deal, I did my senior year of high school online because my parents were moving to a different state and I just didn't have it in me to start a new school my senior year. It would be weird starting a new school senior year where everyone is already set in their groups of friends. But, due to doing the year online I didn't take the SAT because I was originally planning on going to a community college for a year and transferring, but now I'm having second thoughts. Everyone keeps saying stuff like community college is for losers and kids who couldn't afford to go directly to a 4 year university, of course I know that's not true but a lot of people seem to think that. Moving on, I have all of the required classes for a 4 year and money isn't a problem, the only thing I'm missing is the SAT. So is there anyway you can just take the SAT at a CC? I would much rather do that than having to go through all the trouble with transferring.

  • Answer:

You can take the SAT anytime between high school & college. You can't take the SAT during college because that would be pointless.
