Help me decide my college program, Social Service Worker or Child and Youth Worker?
-
I have recently been accepted to college for both the Child and Youth Worker program as well as the Social Service worker program at Mohawk college. I'm not sure which one I should pursue after school I hope to counsel children with mental health issues. Has any one taken these courses or does anyone work in these fields? Any information you have would be helpful!

Answer:
Well, in all honesty, neither career track is particularly lucrative. Both social services and youth workers are very low paid professions. In fact, they both pay even less than what most public school teachers make.
