Which university would you go to and why?

Which university should I go to for engineering and why?

  • I'd like to go into Electrical and Computer Engineering and my preferences are: UofT, UWaterloo, UBC, McGill, McMaster, Western, Ryerson, and Queen's

  • Answer:

I work for UBC so my answer is somewhat biased ;) I read something really cool recently about UBC Engineering students driving across Canada in an electric beetle http://ow.ly/3IcMj You can read more on their blog > http://ow.ly/3IcMw UBC Engineering offers 11 different undergraduate programs leading to the Bachelor of Applied Science degree in chemical and biological, civil, electrical, computer, materials, mechanical, mining, geological, integrated and environmental engineering as well as engineering physics. Look at some student stories here > http://www.engineering.ubc.ca/prospective_students/graduate/meetourstudents.php This blog is also a great source of info > blogs.apsc.ubc.ca/makingadifference/ Ask the faculty questions directly twitter.com/ubcengineering or join our Facebook page facebook.com/youbc to get more information.
