What is on the entrance exam for the selective enrollment?

Question regarding the age limit for writng entrance exam for engineering or MBBS in India. pls answer . . .?

I'm right now a student of std 10, about to write my Sa2 exam this coming march. i was born on 29 February 1996. that means by the end of the year 2012 I'll be 2 months away from being 17. but i read in the paper that for writing the entrance exam one has to be at least 17yrs of age on 31st Dec of the previous year. that is if someone is to write the entrance exam in coming April they'll have to be 17 on 31st Dec 2010. so i just wanted to know what the actual age limit is and if i really will not be able to write the entrance exam the year i pass 12 is there something i cud do about it rather than wait a whole year.

Dear Friend If you are 17 years Old and more than 17 years, then you are eligible for appear in the MBBS Entrance exams.
