What is it like studying in Malaysia?

U.s citizen...studying masters in malaysia? good idea?

  • Hey everyone, im just about to graduate from college here in the U.S i am going to graduate with B.S in Chemistry from University of Maryland, college park. a pretty competitive school. so anyways , i was thinking about doing my masters in information technology in Malaysia right after i graduate, and i know the education system there is cheap and very good. but does it really compare to the u.s i mean people would kill to come do masters or study here, am i just giving it away by doing my masters in malaysia, ive been hearing that alot, but i dont know what to do. To be honest, after i graduate , im thinking about just staying in the middle east for a job and all, most likely in qatar! so is studying there okay, or should i just stay in the U.S , since id have better job opportunities with a masters in the U.S

  • Answer:

Yes. International travel and education really stand out on resumes. Just be sure to try to tie in your BA with your MA. Employers are looking for people who build on their education, and not go around trying to be a Michelangelo. I would also suggest you become fluent in at least one foreign language. It's the best way to impress employers.
