Which CSU should I apply to?

  • Hi.My name is Joana and I'm a high school senior... I live in California and would like to stay here... which CSU should I apply to? I was thinking maybe monterey bay....I have 4.0 GPA...what r the requirements to get into CSU? every thing's happening so fast , I just got lost...I was thinking about a major in business...where is the best place to study business here in CA? which CSU would you apply? why? do you know anything about that place?

    You're aiming too low, but, if you insist on a CSU for Business, San Jose State has one of the best Business Schools among CSUs. What is your SAT score? If you're worried about expenses, some private schools will give good scholarships if your GPA and SAT and high. Consider Santa Clara University.

Best place in California for business: Public: UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Irvine Private: Santa Clara University, University of Southern California, University of San Diego, Pepperdine University Its fairly easy to qualify for the CSUs, but you can do a lot better than that. I suggest giving those schools i mentioned a try (apply to all of them) along with San Diego State, San Francisco State San Jose State, CSU East Bay, Cal Poly SLO and CSU Long Beach Monterey isnt good for business. Their marine bio program is much better. If you keep the GPA up, you probably have a chance at the UC and private schools. You are probably more than qualified for the CSUs (dont go to Monterey Bay for business cuz its not good)

Monterey Bay is way to easy to get into for you. With a 4.0 you should think about UC schools. If you really want CSU then San Luis Bispo is the best one. Another great california school for business is Pepperdine University which looks over beautiful Malibu California. CSU schools range from 2.95 to 3.9 usually. 4.0 and up are more towards the UC schools such as UCLA, UCSB, UCSD and so on and so fourth. Check them out!
