Are my grades good enough to get into Medical School?

I need to get good grades to get into med school. What is the best book on how to get good grades?

    The only way to get good grades is to fully understand the material that you are going to be tested on. There is no one book that can help you do that. If you are going to be tested on Algebra chapter 1 then you would need to fully understand the material presented in that chapter. The same goes for History, English, Science or any other subject you are to be tested on. If the teacher did a good job teaching the material to you, you did your best at completing the assignments and comprehending what the teacher presented then you should do a good job at the test. Grades on a test are to show you to what degree you understand the material being presented to you.

You have to have like a 3.8 GPA to get into med school. You might consider reading the reference books for your classes before the classes begin so that you actually have more information than your classmates. You can use this extra information to gain an advantage over the others. Also, ask people who have already been accepted to med school which books they used since they're already tried and true, so to speak. Good luck! I'm sure you'll get in. Mike

Put in the time. School is like a job. You get out of it what you put in. Usually you need to study two hours for every one hour class. At least. If you put in the time you should have great grades unless you come up against something you don't understnad enough to study. Then, get help. Also, be orangized. If you have a job, you need to know where everything you need is, keep track of appointments, ect. Same thing. Be your own secretary. :)
