Is computer science a good field to get a degree in and go to grad school with? Will I be able to find a job?

I started my new semester of freshmen college student. I am a math major but i am taking my first computer science course. The coding, the internet, all of it I LOVE IT!!!! I would love to major in it but im afraid its not worth it. What jobs will I be able to get with a computer science degree? Will it even be worth it if something like SOPA or ACTA gets passed which otherwiese, my educastion and passion is a waste. But I love coding and doing these programs, i know it will get ahrder, but ive always been interested in it and the class is fun for me. what do you think? SOURCES!!!!

Answer:
YAY! A FELLOW MATHIE! Anywho, a computer science/mathematics combination is extremely powerful. As far as math goes, it's probably the most reasonable option in terms of employment, pay, etc. In fact, (among math majors) math/computer science majors enjoy one of the highest median incomes (98k). In addition, you won't lose out much if you decide not to get a graduate degree. In short, a compsci/math degree will set you up just fine. Also, don't worry too much about SOPA and ACTA - you'll be just fine.

Well, I have no firsthand experience with it, but my uncle got a B.S. in Computer Science many years ago, worked for IBM in Rochester, MN as a Computer Software Programmer for many years, wound up making it to Senior Executive for Security Software Development and brought home 250,000 per year before he decided to open his own business. Plus, this major in ranked amongst the top ten for graduates finding employment immediately upon graduation.

Actually I saw on CNN that Computer Science majors had the highest post-Graduation job placement out of all majors, something like 94% with an average starting salary of $66,000. Although I have to imagine the jobs are in mostly concentrated areas (Silicon Valley, CA; Seattle; New York; etc.) but I could be wrong.

No and no. Unemployment in computer sci in the US is extremely high and my comp sci friends said so post graduation.
