Where do I start to be a RN?

Im about to graduate high school and i want to get into the field of nursing(RN)but i dont know where to start?

  • so if any one out there can tell me what i need to first do to be able to be/start to become and register nurse i would appreciate it. Also where i need to look and what classes i need to get out of the way. Thanks, Samantha

Wow ! I'm im the SAME EXACT boat with you . I'm a senior and last year our school offered an nursing class. so that was VERY helpful. you should talk with you counselor see if your school offers any classes like that . but ALL SCIENCE classes are very important !! have you taken Chemistry ?

You have a couple of choices. You can take a two year RN program, offered at community colleges, and some universities, or you can go for for years for a BSN. Talk to your guidance counselor at school. He or she will be able to give you all kinds of information about what's available to you. Good luck!

take coreereqs like eng, math, psych, wtvr and sciences make sure to take bio ur first semester speak to an adviseer, but more imp. speak to frineds who r already nurses theyll give u the best advice since they already ewalked sown that road
