How many ap classes is enough for Princeton?

Do i need to be in a lot of honors and AP classes to get into Princeton University?

  • can i have really good grades but in average classes or do i have to be in advanced everything?

  • Answer:

If you have a 4.0 in regular classes it won't cut it for Princeton unless you're the president of everything and in many sports and clubs. Aim for all honors and as many AP classes as you can HANDLE. But again, even honors and AP won't cut it, you need some good extracurricular activities too.

these ivy league colleges want to see a student who is a leader and pushes themselves academically. If your HS offers honors and AP classes then you need to be taking them. To be honest I doubt you would be ready for ivy league college classes without them. You will need a score of 30+ on the ACT and 680+ on your SAT subjects and in the top 10% of your HS class to have a chance of getting in.
