For any art-related portfolio, they're going to want to see drawing from life. Not from photos or from your imagination, but from you looking at stuff and drawing it. And it can be anything! You could draw your hand, your foot, your legs, a self portrait, a still life, the stuff on your bureau, a landscape, your front yard, a tree, a flower, buildings, a chair - anything, so long as you do it from life. If you draw well, start drawing. If you suck as shading, don't shade. Just draw as you normally do, but draw the stuff around you. Grab some paper and go. Ideally, you have some good quality white paper around. If all or some of it is larger - maybe 16" x 20" or so - that'd be fabulous, so you could do larger sketches; but if you don't have it, don't stress. Just use what you've got. You say you like to draw. Do you have any drawings already? Look through those and see what you've got, then make the rest. Did you take art classes in school? If so, then look through that stuff. See if, in addition to the 5 sketches that are required, you can find any stuff you did in art class in any medium - drawing, painting, sculpture, photo, computer, jewelery, anything at all. Pull out your best 5 pieces, and include those as well. You'll then have the 5 required sketches, plus 5 more pieces, for a total of 10 items - and that's roughly the amount that most art schools want to see. You can do this. You absolutely can do this. Just take it one piece at a time. Go in this order: 1) first look through your old stuff. Try to find some things that might work. Put those items aside. 2) start drawing. Try to complete more than 5 sketches, of things you observe around you right now. If you can, have a couple of those be larger format, but if you can't, don't stress. Just draw. 3) go through your results. See what you have. 4) pull out the best 5 sketches, and if you have other stuff, pull out the best 5 of that. That's your portfolio. When you post back, let me know how it all went, okay?

im sorry, but how can you expect to get into architecture school if you dont have any sketches, even from past experiences? These sketches have to be very well made, not just paper and pencil drawings. these kinds of things are partially printed, rulers and accurate scales and stuff like that. U need to ask about what they want exactly? Blueprints, CAD sketches? free form? If you know that you really have the talent for this then yes, you could probably get this all done in 24 hours. Just be yourself at the interview. good luck
