Can I take an AP exam if I am in College already?

If your in high school taking an AP class and dont take the exam, do u still get college credits?

  • Answer:

yes you can receive college credit with AP class. However, you have to take an exam that is specially designed for college credit. The maximum you can get is score of 5. I took calculus AP in high school and took the exam and made a score of 4. I was to get college credit, but I still took calculus in college again, to further strengthen my calculus background. After that I felt rock solid in calculus and felt really good to have such strong foundation. Now I am studying master's in mathematics. Moreover, it should not hurt you if you take it in college again. It will be a review and much less effort is needed. These concepts like differentiation, integration, etc etc are very critical in fields like engineering, sciences and CS. Just have fun.

No, you do not get credit if you do not take the exam. You must take the exam and do well on it (specific required score varies by college) to earn college credit.

No you don't. The only way to get college credit is to not only take the test, but to do well enough on it
