How to excel in mathematics?

Hey Brianna! I had trouble in my earliest Calc Classes because I paid very little attention and did homework at the last second. The easiest suggestion I have to offer is to do homework right before bed, and then refreshing your mind in the morning by reviewing it! It is a fool proof strategy, and it helps me for all my classes! Also, I know this sounds nerdy, but try and do extra homework at times! Even if it is the most basic problems, anything to get your mind jogged for math helps. I even like to skip the calculator and try calculations in my head if you are really struggling. Eventually you will become accustomed to this, and math will come much easier! Edit: Like Quite New said, a friends help and methods often help me out far more than the teacher's explanation! Try and converse with friends about solutions to problems, and see how they do it!

be smart

as with all virtues worth gaining hard work must be applied. if you really want to excel i would suggest staying after school whenever there is a subject you don't fully understands. also immerse yourself in your work and put time and effort into it. otherwise don't procrastinate or multi task. this is a bit extreme but im not saying you have to do all of these things just most of them :D. good luck and enjoy
