Can you transfer cosmetology schools?

• I may only be able to do half of the course at cosmetology school before I would have to move to another city with my family. Do most cosmetology schools let you pay as you go and then if you transfer your credits to the next school? how does this work?

  We do not have courses and credits in cosmetology school, you simply accumulate clock hours then take your tests. So these hours will transfer anywhere. Because of this you cannot pay as you go. Many schools require you to pay the total amount upfront but some schools have monthly of phase payment plans. This is a technical degree, it is not at all like college. Since you know that you will be transferring talk to the financial aid rep at the school to make sure that they do not charge you for the full fees, or that they will give you a refund for the non-completed hours.
