Is there a college where you can major in astrology?

Which college class is easier, astrology,environmental science, geology?

  • Im trying to pick between these classes and I don't know which would be the easiest.lol any ideas? geology would be un but im already taking hard classes ..:( iDK

    If you want an easier class, take Geology. My father isn't good at science (at all), and he is managing to get an A-. I think Environmental Science is easy-- a lot of it is common sense if you understand science (as well as, in some cases, current events). However, if it's anything like the introductory Enviro Sci course I took in my freshman year, it will cover a lot more material than an introductory Geology course would. If you want easy, don't take Astronomy. Of course, this is considering you hate all sciences and just want to get it all out of the way with the least work, no matter what the subject is. If you're fascinated with Astronomy, that alone could make it worth the extra effort. If Geology bores you, you could fail it. "Easy" is a relative term.

You have a college that does an astrology class? I don't see how that would be a science. Astronomy however is. It really depends on your interests. Not so much on what is easier, because an "easy class" you aren't remotely interested in will make you fail faster than a hard class you enjoy. Environmental Sciences will look at how the importance of protecting Air, Land and water sources. You'll study thinks like the importance of riparian zones of rivers, air pollution, Superfund sites, and the like. Depending on the professor you may have a data gathering and analysis component. This class usually has a huge research paper as well. Geology will have you studying rock types, plate tectonics, vulcanism, layers of the earth, glaciation and types of erosion, etc. You'll need to know how to calculate slope (rise over run....from algebra class) and strike and dip. Astronomy will be all about planets, moons and galaxies. You'll probably have some Chemistry in this class as well.

Astrology is a superstition. I think you mean astronomy. Of those, geology would be the easiest, then astronomy and environmental science. None of them should require much math other than algebra, at least in the introductory class - higher levels all require math and physics, so they are among the hardest majors. But the easiest intro classes.

Classes are dependent on the teacher, I have taken classes that are a breeze then someone else took it with a different teacher and they barely passed. To me the material is almost not important what you need to do is learn about the professors.

I took an astronomy class in college [in lieu of having to take math] because I thought it would be interesting and easy. HA! It was interesting but it was not easy, partly because I didn't have the math and physics background for it. But I still managed to get a B.

Fairly certain Environmental Science is the easiest, and it's probably the most useful in real-life too good luck :D
