What College Course Should I Take?

• I'm interested in interpreting statistics, but I think I'll enjoy making graphs and charts even more. Should I take statistics because of this? Or is stat more about crunching numbers instead of interpreting them? People like Hans Rosling and charts like these (http://sixrevisions.com/graphics-design/40-useful-and-creative-infographics/) inspire me to go into stat. Is there another course that would be more suited to me? On another note, what job opportunities would be available for me? Are statisticians/graph-makers in reasonable demand in South East Asia? Is work as a statistician actually boring and I'm just making a big hubbub out of it? Thank you to all who would take the time to consider my question. I'm two years away from getting into college, and my tutors say I'll probably end up working in the National Statistics Office. They say it as if it was dry, boring office work. :O

  They say it is boring because it is something they are not interesting in, but you seem to interested in this type of data, so ignore their comments. Im taking a Intro Stat class now, we use some math but the most important steps in all of our work is interpreting the data. I'd recommend taking into to stat first and then go from there.
