Should I stick with what I am doing in university or switch?

• I have a huge problem. I am 19 years old and have graduated from high school a year ago. I took a year off before starting university because I was not sure what I wanted to do. I first wanted to go to Conestoga college for a marketing diploma but then decided a diploma is not good enough and I wanted to go to university. After all that I am now going to the University of Waterloo for the Arts and Business program (co-op) and am thinking in majoring in Sociology and specializing digital arts communications. I want to get into a career of either marketing or advertising. I am in my first year and only in the first semester. Basically, my question is whether the program I am in will help me get into the career(s) I would like. Would a company like RIM take me?? I am so confused. I don't want to continue if it is going to get me no where!!! Someone Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I think You should broaden your horizon and take some different courses to see what you like.
