What should I include in my Personal Statement?

Personal statement help? should I include this in my essay?

I received several priority decision applications from different colleges that I'm applying to, now I don't know if that's normal or good, but it says write a personal statement instead of a essay. Now, when I was young I was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADD, so I was going to include in my essay of how I overcame it and am now it the top ten percent of my class in grades. However, now that I think about it should would telling them this hurt my chances, because they would know I have a learning disability.
Answer:

I don't think so because having ADD and now being at the top 10% is a really good thing. Plus I'm sitting here looking at a college essay prompt asking to write about personal information (hardship, challenges, etc.), so I disagree with the first answerer.
