What do you wear the first day of college??!!?

Jeans and t-shirt. Capri's and a cute top. By all means don't wear a brand new over the top outfit like you did in middle school!

I'm starting college in about 2 weeks. I don't plan on dressing up for the first day, I'm just going to dress like I normally would if I was starting another year of high school, as I think most people do that.

Most college students don't dress up; neither do the professors, for that matter! And at 8 in the morning, no one is really going to be paying attention to your wardrobe (unless you wear something really outrageous). My advice is no sequins, nothing too low-cut or too short a skirt (your fellow students are supposed to be looking at the professor, not at you), nothing too glittery. You can't go wrong with a t-shirt from that university if you can swing the price for the "name brand." No profanity or obscenities on the shirt, either. Wear what you would wear to go shopping or run errands.

In college no one cares what you wear. I am being serious, college is nothing like high school.

it depends on your school, if it is strict then you should wear smart clothing. if it is not. wear anything you normally would.
