Do i have to apply to medical school for crna?

What is harder pharmacy school or CRNA school?

  • And which one is harder to GET IN?? I just want your opinions. thanks

  • Answer:

I can't speak for pharmacy school. What I can tell you about CRNA school is that after 4 years of college, you are required to have 1 year some places require 2 years of an INTENSE ICU experience. Normally new grads are not hired into an ICU; most ICUs require 1 year of med surg or telemetry experience before being considered for a position in an ICU. So you're talking 6 years at least after you start college before you're even eligible to apply. The hard part about CRNA school is that it is very competitive with the average applicant having about 5 years of intense ICU experience such as cardiothoracic/trauma and GPAs averaging 3.8.
