How to play separate audio through speakers and headphones?

How can i listen to something differently in my headphones but not play it on the loud speakers?

• HEY! i am a new beginner DJ and i am using the program, Virtual DJ on my computer. but i want to have a song playing on the loud speakers but at the same time be able to listen to another one in my headphones so i now what to play next without it being played on the loud speakers. PPPPPPLEEEEAAAASSEEEE HELP ME TO DO THIS! THANKS:)

  You'll need to get a sound card like this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002N2TWSY?ie=UTF8&tag=mdb08-20&link_code=as3&camp=211189&creative=373489&creativeASIN=B002N2TWSY (will work well with Virtual DJ) With Traktor there are ways to configure it where you can use a splitter out of the headphone jack but the result is less than ideal. Never had much luck with that myself.
