How do I get audio from my computer when I hook it up through the VGA input on my Proview RX-326 TV?
-
I have the computer hooked up to my TV through the VGA port. I have a great picture but I would also like to run the sound through my TV also. I hooked it up through the RGB audio connection but I get no sound. I do not have a manual to this TV so maybe I;m doing something wrong. If someone could tell me how to get sound from my computer through the TV while using the VGA video input I would immensely happy. Please help. The TV is a Proview RX-326 flat screen HDTV. Thank You

Answer:
Most TVs with VGA have a 3.5mm audio input, which you would use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm patch cord.

You don't. You will need to find an audio output from your puter and connect it to your TV's audio input.
