How Can I Make Sony Vegas 10.0 To Play MKV files ?

Hi! i just want to ask .. my sony vegas is not reading MKV files ..its importing only the audio and Sony vegas 8.0 or 7.0 dont read nothing ...my old computer was importing mkv files only with instiallizing DIVX ..but now that are not playing and its very important to make them play..please someone can help me with this ? PLEASE !
