How do i burn this movie onto a disc?

i have a windows basic labtop and i have a couple movies and i want to burn them onto a disc wut do i need to do

first off make sure you have the correct DVD burner. and you can't just use a regular CD, you have to buy a special DVD because they have much more memory, which is needed for the higher capacity files (such as movies). then just find the file and cope>paste it to the (E:) drive, which you can find in your My Computer file.
