What is the cheapest professional video camera out there?

What is the cheapest good quality USB audio video adapter I can get to use with my video camera and VCR?

  • I have hours of video tapes and camera footage i need to edit. As of right now I'm just using my DVD recorder to record what I play on the screen onto a DVD which is very time comsuming and not very professionl looking. I need some kind of usb adapter that transfers good quality video and editing software thats pretty cheap. I tried using pinnacle studio but i don't have enough memory on my computer to use it. I alse just recently bought an easy cap 2.0 video and audio adapter that came with ulead video studio but i am having a big problem getting it to work. My computer recognizes the software but says that says there is no signal from the camera. so if anyone could point me in the right direction for some good software i would appreciate it.

  • Answer:

I suppose you mean you want to use s/w for a "USB-based video capture card" Your problem is your PC not the s/w. Do you have XP or Vista? What s/w you have is very good. RAM for PCs is now very cheap. I recommend you load it up. You can also use windows movie maker, which is free in XP and Vista (but the Vista version is better).
