Phone PAID FOR comes up as stolen and is blocked of activation capabilities. Is there a way to unblock?
-
I purchased a phone off of craigslist (stupid move, dont judge me). I tried to activate with metro pcs (phone was a metro product) and they told me that i cannot have it activated because it is still active on another account. obviously it is not in use. They told me that the phone has been stolen and the only way i can use it is if the person whose name it is under officially closes the account. Unfortunately, the bastard i purchased it from is avoiding my phone calls. I NEED THIS PHONE BECAUSE MINE IS BROKEN!!! Is there ANY way i can unblock it myself? or maybe pay someone to do so? Please help! :-(

Answer:
You cant, the person who stole the phone sold it to you and scammed ya. I would report the seller to craigslist for scamming you.
