How to set the alarm in android?

How do I set my Quartz clock's alarm?

• So I can't figure my clock out then ever I turn the dial for the alarm and it gets close to the hour hand the alarm goes off, but how am i supposed to set it? The clock is sliver metal that is rectangular with black sides. The face is oval, rimmed with black. The second hand is silver and the minute and hour hands are black, and the alarm hand is yellowish. On the back it has the dial for the clock, the alarm and a button to switch the alarm on and off. So if you know how to set the alarm I would greatly appreciate it.

  A detailed description such as you so carefully provided here unfortunately does no good at all; even a brand and model would not help much, because there are so many different clocks and it is unlikely that any answerer would have one similar to it. Fortunately, most mechanical and analog quartz alarm clocks are set the same way: Shut the alarm off and set the alarm hand to the time you want, then enable the alarm.
