Why does my video show up black but I can hear audio on the computer?
-
I'm using an Optio E30 camera and when I try to put th video on my computer it shows up black but audio works. The only time I can see it is when it's on the camera or if I open it in VLC media player. The videos are in .AVI. I don't know why it's doign this but it's really annoying. And I can't even play the videos in certain programs. HELP!

Answer:
Your computer is lacking a required video codec (a codec is a piece of software that is able to play a specific video or audio format). To fix this, download and install the free K-Lite codec pack. You can get it here: http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

Check your drivers, as you might require an update to run as you see it operating normally in camera mode.
