My burned dvd's will play just fine on my laptop, but some wont play on my dvd players, whats wrong?
-
I burn dvd's off the internet, onto right now dvd+r's (i know their are dvd-r's too and still seem to have the same problem) and try to play them on my dvd player and it will say invalid disc. When i go back to one of our laptops though it will play just fine on both laptops. Another movie burned onto a dvd+r worked just fine in the dvd player and the laptops so im not really sure if my dvd's are the correct type, if dvd players are very sensitive with burned discs and you have to get lucky, if my burn speed is possibly to fast or to slow. any help here would be much appreciated!

Answer:
you need a dvd player that can play div-x encrypted movies. most dvd players dont have this capability, you'll probably need to get another dvd player just for watching div-x movies. they are pretty cheap.
