I keep disconnecting from the internet every time the phone rings?
-
Well, I use a wireless internet, and every time my home phone rings, or my mom starts using it, I disconnect from the internet. It didn't happen before, it only started recently, like about 2 months ago, and it's really starting to get annoying. My sister and I have the exact same laptop, and it doesn't happen to hers. And the weird part is, I can regain connection when I'm in my room while the phone is in use(farther from my phone, and closer to my modem) My sister doesn't disconnect even if shes close to the phone. Help anyone? D: I'd really appreciate it >.< Make sure you read this too before you answer, please >_>

Answer:
Let me guess, the phone is a 2.4 Ghz cordless. The solution is to change the router channel to one about 4 channels away from what you have now.
