How do I scan or fax something that's really long?

How Do I use a fax machine?

  • I have never used a fax machine before. I just have a simple question. Are you able to fax something by just scanning for example a Drivers License without having to print it? Because I have ran out of ink. So basically I can just have the card itself scan it. Upload it then fax it to the number? BTW I cannot print anything I just have a card that I need to fax somehow.

    Send a fax does not need any ink. Put your driver license over it and send. Choose best quality or photo.

You can fax a card such as a driver's license to another fax machine simply by scanning it and sending the fax. The problem depends on the fax machine and how it scans a document. On a typical combo scanner, printer fax, you only need to place it on the scanner glass and just fax it. On a sheet feed type you would have to tape it on a sheet and then feed it in to scan and fax it.
