Best quality headset for under £150 (233$) ?

Am looking for a good quality PC headset for up to £150. Can maybe go a bit higher if needed. It would be ideal if it was universal and could connect to my PS3 and Xbox but is not essential. Please do not recommend any Turtle Beach products as I have used them in the past and have found them to be flimsy and easily breakable. Any website links or suggestions are greatly appreciated. The best i've tried is BOSE. But other brands include AKG, Beyerdynamic and Audio Technica. But everyone's ears are different. Go out and try them. Hope this helps :)
