When you buy a phone of off ebay how do you use it ?

  • I'm looking to buy a iphone 4 and I'm going to try buying from ebay. Now if I actully do buy from ebay how would I use my number and all that. Like once I buy it how do I use it ? How do I put my smart chip in ?

    ok now if your going to buy an iphone off of ebay, make sure after you get it to find out what carrier it is such as Verizon, At&t, Sprint, Virgin Mobile. call the carrier and ask if you can change the number and make a plan. there should be a slot to put it in and if not their (might) be one behind the battery..

it depends, if you have att sim card, (has to be mircro sim, or you cant cut your sim card), you can just put it in and att will charge you a data plan (15 or 25 dollars a month extra to your bill), if you got any other mobile services like T-Mobile, you have to buy a unlocked iphone 4, in that case you just cut your sim card into a smaller shape and plug it in, and you can use it like any other phone
