Will my wall charger for iPod touch also charge a Nook?

I'm getting a nook simple touch for Christmas, and I don't want to have to buy a wall adapter for the nook. Can I use a wall charger I already have for the iPod touch? Will it work? It has a USB port, so I would just have to plug in the cord for the Nook.
