is there any thing which i can buy to plug 2 HDMI cables into the same TV such as a adaptor so i dont have to keep switiching with my game consoles

You must have an older TV that only has a single HDMI input. TVs now come with multple HDMI inputs so you only need to select which input on your TV. There are external HDMI switchboxes that cost from $20 on up, depending upon quality and features.
