What is the best iPod texting app? One where it will actually show me that I have a text instead of it showing me like 20 minutes later. And what texting app is the smoothest? I'll pay for the app btw. And I can't use the regular I message because none of my friends have the newer iPods. Can anyone help me out?

Text plus for free. If you're having issues with getting notifications, go to settings>notifications>text plus> then adjust it to show a banner or alert whenever you get a new text
