How can I use the Slingbox away from my home?

Slingbox question....?

I want to buy a Slingbox HD Pro but want to make sure it will do what I want. I use my laptop to watch movies on my basement TV. My laptop connects to my basement TV. However, I want to watch movies in my home theater but my laptop wont connect to that TV. Can I buy a slingbox and hook up my laptop on my basement TV and watch movies on my home theater TV?

Simply No. Slingbox is to connect to what STB you receive TV with, and relay that to a computer or Slingcatcher. A Slingcatcher might do what you want though, as can a number of other media extender devices, which is play content from the internet or over the network from your computer.
