Speakers have gone really quiet?

Headphones are low volume, speakers are full-blast!?

  • I recently picked up a new pair of speakers with a headphone jack. When I plug the headphones in I really have to crank up the volume on my speakers in order to be able to hear anything. Is there any way to fix this or is this just how the speakers work? I accidentally ripped the headphones out of the jack and the music was blaring! I've already gone into the Control Panel and turned up the volume there, but it won't go high enough.

  • Answer:

no it's just his the speakers/headphones came, happened to me to....lol hope this helped

Maybe your headphones just suck. >-> <-< Does the volume through the headphones change if you change it on the computer? If not, it is probably a setting you are missing. If so, then it is just the headphones. Try plugging your headphones directly into the computer, see if that does any good.

Change another pair of good quality headset. Some cheap made headset sold in DOLLAR SHOP has very low efficient. If your headset used to be good before, then perhaps a partial short between the wire. To determine this type of failure can be found easier with an OHM-meter
