Does Zune Pass work for iPods?

Zune HD? What can a Zune do?

• I was thinking of getting a Zune instead of an Ipod touch. My brother has an ipod touch and he loves it but i really dont know if i want to spend more money on it ( i heard zunes are cheaper) and im not really into apps. Maybe just weather or internet lol. my boyfriend has a zune and he loves it. I asked him about it but he kinda gets me confused about it all!! XD :/ If you have one, can you help me out? So here are my questions: How does the music pass work? Can you go on the internet? Does it come in different colors? It says you pay a certian amount of money a month, and you can get a certain number of songs for free and keep. My boyfriend said you can kinda 'rent' a song, you don't keep it unless you pay. What does he exactly mean by that...?? And also, DON'T TELL ME IPOD TOUCH IS BETTER. IDC I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE ZUNE! please and thank you :)

  I have had my Zune HD since December '09, and I love it. That should give you an idea of its durability if you were wondering. To answer your questions: The music pass or Zune Pass is a subscription service that gives you access to all the music you want for $9.99/month. At the end of one month, if you choose not to keep paying, I believe you get to keep a certain number of songs (10, i think). If you keep paying, you still keep all the songs you had downloaded that month. I, myself have never used the Zune Pass since I have other means of getting the music I want. ;} Yes, you can access the internet. It is only wifi-based internet, so its only as fast as the wifi if you are near a wifi point. It's not like you're connected to a service provider or anything. I hardly use the internet capability, however. My HD has been a pure music machine for me these past couple years. It only comes in Black and Silver unfortunately. Zune Originals was a service they provided people to customize their Zune with many colors and designs/engravings on the back, but they shut it down this past summer just because they did essentially shut down making the Zune HDs. You can still buy them new however in any Walmart or Best Buy. It seems you are like me in the fact that you're not really into apps. The Zune HD was never meant to be an iPod killer like most people made it out to be. If you want a really great music player, the Zune is still the best way to go these days. The iPod for me was never about the music, more for the apps, and I am still happy that I went with the HD. Hope this helps.
