What is the easiest way to convert vhs to dvd?

What's the best way to convert VHS to DVD?

  • I have a ton of VHS tapes. They're all movies I love and don't want to lose. I don't want to purchase their DVD form either. A lot of them can't be purchased in DVD form anyway. The only other place I would be able to find them is in Hollywood's archive center. So what's the most effective way to transfer them to DVD? I care more about quality than money.

  • Answer:

I recommend you DVDFab DVD Creator can burn all sorts of videos to DVD. Downloaded videos, camcorder videos, and videos shared from others are all OK. And the supported formats are MKV, MP4, AVI, M2TS, TS, MOV, WMV, WMA, 3GP, FLV, M4V, VOB, etc.

Other answers

You can either DIY with a device (like mentioned above) or you can outsource to a pro company for about $20 a tape. GoPhoto does this in the US for $19.95 a tape; you may have someone local as well. Doing it yourself will take some time, so it may be a question of how much money time is for you. ;)

The possible solution is to get a device specifically for that purpose, something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-DVR620-DVD-Recorder-Black/dp/B001T6K7G6
