What is rent deposit and utility deposit?

I want to set up direct deposit to pay my rent to my landlord. but the utility bill comes separate?

• It is possible to set up direct deposit to my landlord, but then how I am i going to pay my utility bill. Many people set up direct deposit to pay their monthly rent on time , but if the utility bill is on them and comes separate then how do they pay it?   If the utility bill comes separate, then you either set up a auto bill pay to pay the utility company every month, or you send them a check, go pay in person, online or by phone. Not sure why you are making this more complicated than it really is?
