I have all other address proves(driving license, bank statement, bsnl telephone, college i card, bonafide certificate from college). Kindly provide me with any help. I am in very urgent need of passport, pls help me out.

  • Answer:

stop paying rent since there is no evidence of you signing an agreement. I think he has lost it and there is no written agreement to prove you owe rent. Never Never Never sign anything without getting a copy of it immediately.

frankly if you do not have a copy of the rental agreement that you should have signed when you rented, you are not able to prove anything regarding the rental the landlord having the only copy is able to do anything he wants with that copy during your lease and you don't have a leg to stand on if something goes awry during the lease it is your right to have a copy if you have lost it in the meantime after having had possession of it, that is another matter
