Should i become a real estate investor?

  • i have no credit an little money...an seen this post to be a realestate investor trainee...earn while you learn...the school cost about 1500 $..an they say you can start making money within weeks by fliping houses...would like an expert opinion on what to do...thanks

    Go ahead, but learn as much as you can about real estate. Read books by some of the master investors. They know what they're talking about.

What will most likely happen is you learn the basics about how people do house flipping, including a bunch of improbable success stories that would be nearly impossible to duplicate. You then end up having no success at finding "deals" and realize that you just wasted $1500. And, regarding the "earn while you learn" angle, they'll probably have you out searching for the "deals" for them and, when one works out, you're paid a finder's fee of a couple hundred dollars. In the mean time, you might have put in several weeks trying to find a suitable property that they end up making the money on, not you. Sorry to burst your bubble. But, if there were a get-rich-quick scheme that actually worked for everyone who tried it, we would all be rich, wouldn't we?
