How To Find Loan Number?

Any ideas how I can find an old mortgage loan number online? The home was sold about 4 years ago.?

FYI you should have retained the closing paperwork for tax documentation. Or contact the title company who handled the closing to see if they can provide it.

I'm assuming maybe it wasn't removed from Title & that's why you're asking? If you can find an old credit report there should be a loan number on there but they're not always accurate. Or you can have the Deed of Trust pulled from when you got that original loan. Between the loan number on the Deed and your SSN you should be able to get someone to help you on the phone at Argent. If this is in fact your loan that we're talking about then you should be able to get some help from Argent with your SSN & other verifying information. They will probably want the date of recording though & the original loan amount. Hope that helps, email me if you need to, I work in Escrow/Title.
