How to find out my bank reference number?

How do you find a reference number for a house?

  • This comes with a little story if you all care. I've been living in my house since I was born basically and down the road there was this little girl that I was best friends with when I was really young. We were friends for quite a few years until they moved and recently i've been thinking a lot about them and want to try and see if I can find them online, see what they're up to and all that. The only problem is I don't remember their names.. so I figured i'd go online and do a land records search on the house they lived in, if that isn't too creepy, but another problem is I only know the address of the house and there is no search options for just the address. I'm new at doing all this so I need a little help. http://www.landrecords.jcc.ky.gov/records/S0Search.html This is the website i'm using, it has search options for control number, reference number, and book pages and the like. What I need to know is, What is a reference number? and how do I find it?

  • Answer:

by going down to the courthouse you'll be able to see chain of title showing who owned and it when. like the previous answer though, if they were tenants, I don't know what to tell you

See if you can find the web site for the appraisal district for that county. They usually have address searches. And from the tax appraisal information, you might be able to see the recording information for the various ownership transfers that have occurred over time. You can then use those to search the county property index and find the information you are looking for, though the appraisal district records might also show the previous owner's names which is what you are looking for anyway.

I doubt you will find this information on the internet it is possible however that you might research county records for the owners of the property at the time you are considering also be mindful that the people you are seeking might have been tenants and didn't own the land
